Friend of the world = the enemy of God ->
(Here, world means the comfort, luxury and materials)
So being friend of the God = Not the enemy of God = Not friend of the world = Not chasing for comfort, luxury or materials. ->
For us, it means to lead a life simple, without luxury, avoiding waste ->

Yes, simplicity and details are God ->

It reminds me the Life at the Enterprise in the Star Trek, since everything is basic life support system on the ship.
--- I bet no crews (or at most one out of a hundred) from Enterprise can be the enemy of God, for the simple and detailed life on the Space Ship with a good leadership well demonstrates the meaning of being a friend of God.
